My name is Isabel and I have been evolving my passion for, and experience in, knitting for over 17 years. I first learned from my grandmother when I was 8, but re-discovered it, and stuck with it, in my early 20's. Since then, I have enjoyed teaching people the craft as well as learning from so many talented knitters. I am also the daughter of a wonderfully talented quilter, painter, textile artist, embroiderer, and general "mother who loves making beautiful things." I have learned how to make so very many things from her -- not as lovely as hers -- but I enjoy creating things.
On my blog I share various projects, musings, and goings-on so please visit, and sign up to receive e-mail updates. Having a very active toddler in the house keeps me busy, but whenever I am able to spend some time with my natural dyes, I do so, and put some of the work up for sale on my site here.
As far as my knitting work, if you would you like a specific item made for yourself or as a gift, I am happy to discuss commission work. I am also available for completing projects that need piecing, finishing, or mending.
I am based in Aurora, Colorado, just outside of Denver, but can ship wherever needed. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me.
“If you do follow your bliss you put yourself on a kind of track that has been there all the while, waiting for you, and the life that you ought to be living is the one you are living. Follow your bliss and don't be afraid, and doors will open where you didn't know they were going to be.” ― Joseph Campbell
